Why we started

Sri Lanka grows some of the world's best cinnamon, pepper and tea — but by the time most of it reaches a UK shelf, it's passed through several intermediaries, lost most of its aroma, and arrived a long way from what it tasted like at source. Agromel UK exists to shorten that chain: working directly with growers we know, and getting produce onto UK kitchen shelves as close to source-fresh as international shipping allows.

Direct sourcing

We work with growers and small processing collectives in Sri Lanka rather than anonymous bulk traders, so we know where every product actually comes from.

Naturally grown

Our range favours naturally grown, minimally processed produce — dried and packed close to harvest to hold onto aroma and flavour that gets lost over long, slow supply chains.

UK warehoused

Stock is held and dispatched from our UK warehouse, so orders reach you quickly without the customs delays and duties of shipping direct from Sri Lanka per order.
