Our Seeni Sambol with Maldive Fish is slow-cooked in traditional clay pots to preserve flavour and texture. We gently caramelise onions, infuse them with chilli, cinnamon, and aromatic spices, then fold in crispy flakes of cured tuna (Maldive fish) for that signature Sri Lankan umami kick.
Rich reddish-brown with golden undertones. Specks of chilli and fish flakes glisten among glossy onion strands, giving it a rustic, hearty appearance and an unmistakable aroma.
